Hungry Eyes, New painting for February 2018.

Hungry Eyes, 16"x16"x 2" Medium: oil paint, 22k gold, Art Resin, Bristol and wood

These little Japanese White-eye birds in this painting were introduced to Hawaii in 1929 for bug control and soon spread all over the island. They like to eat fruit too, so you want to pick your Papayas before they ripen too much or these little guys will get to them first.
